Computer Mystic is currently a one-person operation founded by Tina Worthington.
Tina is passionate about teaching people how to use a computer system, hardware & software, the Internet, and email among other related topics and providing people an avenue towards self-sufficiency in the technology world.
Tina has taught many people over the years of various backgrounds, ages (6-60+), and proficiency levels for over six years. Although self-taught at the beginning of her computer teaching experience as an AmeriCorps for the Association House of Chicago, Tina has taken computer classes at the college level, earned A+ Certification in 2007, a Desktop Support Specialist certificate in 2010, and continues to hone her teaching skills and knowledge by continuing her education and working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient usage of the Internet, search engines, Macintosh/PC systems and various software (MS Office 2000-2010: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access ; Adobe Photoshop; OpenOffice Suite, etc.)
- Basic web design knowledge: HTML, CSS (experienced with WordPress.org/.com, Blogger, and Google Sites set-up)
- Some graphic design experience
